Saw this outfit while on my way to work and thought it’d look nice on Leilana, so I just had to sketch it.

I really should do more stuff with this oc and related ones than the monthly comics, so I think I’ll try and do at least one sketch or whatever a week

just got home and here’s a scanned version

Eda:*pauses from her paperwork* I don’t know why, but I have the sudden urge to kick Lilith’s butt tomorrow.

That’s not because Lilith swore in front of King, it’s just sibling energy.

Now imagine if Lilith watched Dora the Explorer.

Lilith: Huh, no wonder Flora always got lost. Cause unlike this little human girl, Flora never had a f$&@ing map.

Luz holding King’s “ears”: *gasp*

So are we going to ignore the fact that Amity was cheering for her girlfriend in a baseball game she wasn't even in?

Amity is just a fan of Luz and ready to cheer for her whenever.

(That is a bit weird and it might b a case of reusing frames or a mistake on the animator’s. They could’ve replaced Amity with Sasha holding a sign with Anne and Marcy but Luz was probably originally on the team or on the opposing team but that got cut or something)

Does doing art feel too hard? Can't bring yourself to start even though you want to?

Lower your standards

And more importantly, Lower your expectations

Just start it. You can just put down some colors, or just sketch, or just do lineart. It doesn't have to be more than this. Even starting is enough. Don't think about all the work you need to put into it. Don't set unnecessary expectations for your art.

If you get some sketches going but decide to do something else, that's perfectly okay. If you get to coloring but leave it halfway, that's perfectly okay. There's also no wrong way to start an artwork. And don't second guess what to draw first, because you can draw whatever you want and you can always draw other things some other time. You can start on an idea and abandon it, or move onto the next idea. You can always come back to unfinished artworks. But you don't have to do that either. An unfinished work isn't a failure. It's just a memory

If you want to draw, just draw. It doesn't need to be more than that

Question: did anyone on Earth notice Azura's ears? I mean, in the art you showed us she is not covering them at all; did anyone notice that?

Sure they notice them but I’ve tried to make them smaller than the average witchling and more round due to her half-human parentage. There are humans with pointy ears and so Luz and Camila use that as an excuse when Azura is on earth and ppl ask about it

image

It’s a bit like how Hunter and Belos have slightly smaller ears then other witchlings (Belos because he chopped his ears for his disguise)

I may be late, but ... what are your thoughts on Dippifica? DipperxPacifica?

I mainly prefer Mabifica if I have to choose a Paz ship or a ship with the twins but I’m neutral towards Dipicifica

Owl House headcanon:

After moving to the Isles for college and beyond, Luz forgets that Palisman travel isn’t a common thing on Earth and has summoned her staff to fly several times when visiting earth only to quickly remember and pretend she was doing street magic. However when she’s tired or stressed or just wants to leave a situation she’ll just fly out and not care who sees, after-all who’d believe them?

This does create rumors around Gravesfield about a witch in the woods
